Summer Chic look

You all don’t know how happy I am that SUMMER is finally here in Canada. Living in Canada has made me more appreciative of the constant hot, humid weather back home in Florida.

Speaking of humidity, this winter had a ton of that! Unlike last year, my hair was LAID since the cold weather allowed me to flat iron my natural hair. Though, this year’s winter was so disrespectfully humid it was ridiculous. Why was the weather in negative degrees but still had humidity levels of 70%? HOW SWAY…HOW. The winter’s humidity caused my hair to frizz just as bad as if I was in Florida *rolls eyes*. Hearing this, you guys can understand why I am super excited that summer is finally here.

Summer is such a great opportunity to show some skin and wear bright colors that couldn’t be showcased during fall/winter. I personally love to color block colors in my outfit during the summer. In this look, I wore a bright yellow chiffon shirt that was on sale at Zara. I paired the shirt with navy blue silk shorts (also from Zara), and a Coach brown cross body purse to match with my brown boots from Sirens.  For my accessories, my silver chocker was from Francesca’s  , my hoop earnings were  a gift from my mom’s closet lol (similar pair at H&M), and my rose gold ring was bought while thrifting.

Fun Fact: I shot this look in negative degree weather even though it was technically “Spring” in Canada.
